One of the main ways that we do that is a virtual care solution powered by 98point6. This is a text-based app that we use. So, a member can download the app, fill out their medical history, and they'll be seen in a very quick turnaround time.

They can prescribe medication, you can actually get lab work pulled as well, and they always triage to an in-network lab.

They have board-certified physicians all over the U.S. It's a $0 copay or if you're on a high deductible health plan, it's $5.

The way that our members find in-network providers, they can go on banneraetna.com and there is a button at the top that says find a doctor, but it's not just for finding doctors. They will also be able to find pharmacists, they'll be able to find CVS HealthHUB locations, and MinuteClinic locations.

With these HealthHUBs, there is always a dedicated concierge desk, so a member can walk into these CVS locations and they can be walked through whatever they need.

They can make appointments specifically for mental health.

They take walk-ins or you can do it virtually from your member portal, or you can go on the MinuteClinic CVS website to do that, as well.

If necessary, refer to specialists and resources in the Banner|Aetna network

Transcript: We're very focused in on trying to find ways to improve that member experience, whether it's making it easier to set up an appointment, improve ways to onboard our members, more streamlined administration between the health system and the insurance company. So, we make it an easier process for our members.

It says Banner|Aetna on your ID card and if you use a Banner asset or if you use an Aetna asset, they both have accountability for it.

Banner provides to the collaboration a number of different services. So, for example, the NurseNow call line. Our nurses run that 24/7 to make sure that we get people to the right level of care.

The Multi-Disciplinary Care Team, case management, prior authorization, many of those things are all run through the delivery system.

We are also using Banner specialty pharmacy services. So that's Arizona based. They deliver three times a day. They know how to handle the different weather issues here in Arizona.

Aetna provides the vast majority of our underlying insurance operation, from supporting our underwriting and actuarial work to paying the claims and answering the phones.

CVS recently bought Aetna and it brought a new player into the mix in our joint venture. We have over 35 HealthHUBs now in Arizona to provide more opportunities to engage our members in their health care.

If people use the MinuteClinics and they need a higher level of care, instead of making the patient go find that next level of care on their own, we made a process to refer that into Banner.

We are constantly looking for new ways to improve the processes for our members and make health care easier for them.

Banner Nurse On-Call staff can also help you find nearby urgent care or emergency care facilities. They’ll also check in on you to be sure you’re recovering well. And we'll keep your primary care doctor up-to-date on your health and care recommendations.
